A Thought on Labor Day

September 6, 2016

Final vacation day of Summer for most.  No time off, until maybe Thanksgiving.  Same old, same old since Sunday’s become like any other day for most of us.

Not always a choice.

Maybe that’s why so many of us drag around bone weary.

“Six days to work. Rest on the 7th.”(Exodus 31:15)

God’s idea.

“Come unto me, and I will give you rest.”(Matthew 11:28)

Fifty-Two vacation days a year.

Workers’ compensation.

God’s gift.

What a Boss!
