Some of you, yesterday or today, were startled to receive an e-card from me with a message for Lillian.
Wish I could say someone hacked into my site, but I did it all by myself.
Thought I was making sure Lillian’s address was in my list of folks I’ve sent an e-card to, instead I sent her Mother’s Day card to everyone on the list.
If you didn’t know before reading the message in her e-card, Lillian Harper’s an artist with her camera and gifted at creating homemade cards. So I wanted to thank her for the one she’d snail-mailed to me.
However, imagine the surprise when some men, women and children learned, for the first time, they were mothers and now known as Lillian.
If you didn’t receive the card, it means you weren’t ill, grieving, celebrating, or aging within my limited sphere of knowledge this past year or so.
My friend, Dale, wrote, as only he would, “Thanks. This is the only Mother’s Day card I received. It was special.”
I’m sure it was.
Equally sure Jud’s slowly shaking his head, flashing his killer grin, and grateful whatever I’ve come down with isn’t contagious.
Not that he has to worry.

I’m way behind on my emails – but now I need to go back and see if I got one! Hahahaha, oh Jan, you’re the best!
❤️
I had to hide the card, since my wife is very “jealous” of this one day and would not take being upstaged by her husband very well.
Nice to have friends we can laugh with on occasion. Thanks for being willing to create the occasion.
Blessings, Dale (actually is a gender-neutral name – think Roy Rogers and…..)
I loved it!! We both thought it was great!! I heard the music on Dale’s computer and he heard it on mine! Still smiling . . . just like Judd (but not a killer grin!)
Hope you felt deeply loved, appreciated and celebrated yesterday, because you are!!
Marty
Too funny, gotta love technology!
Any and all of us thought this was so “you”–taking a “blooper” and making us all laugh with you! And we are waiting for it to happen to us one of these days too. In the meantime, we continue to smile and love you the more, Janny!
