Something to Ponder

Knee Deep Ramblings

Life's funneled down to a knee.

Physical therapy.

Icing.

Packs of peas.

Frozen.

Thoughts of funerals.

Mine.

"Don't be so dramatic.  Total knee replacement surgery's common, like the cold."

Well, it's uncommon to me.

You're a wimpy whiner.

Get a grip.

Take some pills or a deep breath.

It's Palm Sunday, for crying out loud.

Where's a palm frond when you need one?

Something to wave, to lift in praise, whether I feel like it or not.

My leg.

A knee slowing bending,  aching out a prayer of sorts to the Holy Healer.

Hosanna, somehow.

Dear Jan,
From a fellow knee sufferer
TKR sucks
Hang in there
I remember the day I told my PT Jessica that I hated her
She saw me thru 2 hip replacements also
It does get better XOXO

Having watched my mom and Jeff go through a knee replacement and all the fun of "rehab" and PT, I promise it gets better! You'll be so glad you had it done once you're up and around again. This too shall pass, but you won't...........well, not anytime time soon! :) xo Hang in there, dear Jan!!

You'll be dancing down the aisle on Easter, Jan. . . That aisle in your living room between two chairs. And I hope someone will get you a Palm frond to stick in your walker basket. . . Happy days ahead!

Jan you are in the difficult part of recovery right now. Soon you will be amazed at how much better you will feel. God is beside you

Please know I am on "Team Jan" praying for much, much better days ahead.

You are deeply loved, East and West!

Deb —

You have permission to whine...total knee replacement is not an easy procedure. Better days are ahead...stay strong and keep moving...you will have a new appreciation for your PT once this regimen is complete. Stay strong my friend. Sending prayers and hugs

You are in the throes of recovery! Give yourself a break and know that this too shall pass. We love you and pray for your rapid recovery. God is good. I think we'd all improve if the temps would rise.
