Hope you didn't have as much trouble finding this site as I did posting my first blog entry. (I never wanted to be a blogger. I thought it was something I should apologize for. "I'm sorry I blogged.")

Those of you who've followed on CaringBridge will soon notice why I was reluctant to leave Martha and the familiar behind.

Martha's been my editor and the one who came up with the clever titles for each post.

So, I'm a little nervous, especially recalling a couple of conversations in recent months.  They  began something like this, "Jan, thank you for encouraging me to write..."

So far, so good, until they added," I never thought I could write until I started reading your posts.  You don't even write in complete sentences.  Sometimes I can't tell if you're writing poetry or prose.  One day when I was reading, I thought, "I can do this!"

Always happy to encourage anyone, especially the Net.  Hope you'll continue to check in.  I'll always need your prayers, love and support.
