Updates from Jud and Jan

RSVP, please! Help Jan Plan by Responding Through the Link Below. A Note from Jan About Jud's Service, January 17th.

Dear NET,

Some of you have been asking about Jud’s service and inquiring about local accommodations.

It will be a very special gift if you can come, and it will do me good to see your faces and thank you personally.

To help us plan, please connect to this site at Gordon:

http://www.gordon.edu/carlberg/services/

This link gives you an opportunity to RSVP—which will be very helpful to me.  And, if you’re coming from a distance, it will provide you with information about housing options in the area.

Hope to see you at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17th, at AJ Gordon Chapel!

Jan and the Family

p.s. Your comments on CaringBridge, as well as your prayers and thoughtfulness to Jud, me and our family, continue to encourage.

Dear Jan,
I wish we could be there, but Kris and Mike will represent our family in celebrating Jud's life.

Dear Jan, We would love to be with you and even considered a quick flight from France. But it doesn't seem feasible at this point. We will be with you in thought and prayer, and hope that there might be a video of the service available?
We love you. You are in our hearts, and our prayers continue faithfully.

We so wish we could be together to celebrate Jud's amazing life. We will be with you in spirit from the other side of the world.

We can only WISH to be there, but will be following all in our loving tho'ts and prayers. It will be a time for remembering so many qualities Jud displayed and his faithful, dedicated service to his Lord, probably with tears flowing. And also a time for resting, even rejoicing, in hope of all that Scripture promises. And God will be present. Meanwhile, may the NET and the family take good care of each other during Advent and Christmas. "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted."

We will be there and have submitted our RSVP. This will be a time of sadness, but of celebration as well.
Blessings, Jan and family.
