Updates from Jud and Jan

In September 2014, Jan began writing updates for the friends and family praying for her husband Jud through his treatment for leukemia at Massachusetts General Hospital. She wrote; Martha Stout posted them to CaringBridge on her behalf.

Jud died on November 20, 2014. Jan kept writing for another eleven months — through the first Thanksgiving, the first Christmas, the first spring — and the entries end by pointing readers toward the blog she had just begun, which became Notes from Jan.
